![]() So I told them I'd canceled the order and hopefully that's the end of it.īut what an ordeal. So evidently Shipt and Meijer don't really communicate with each other. …the Shipt shopper texted me a few minutes later to ask if I wanted the helicopter Dropkick they were selecting for me. The provided number was for Shipt, so after talking to that computer for a while, I got transferred to Meijer customer service and talked to that computer for a while, then sat on hold for a while, then a live person came on and when I said I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund, she said the order isn't actually charged until I pick it up, so that was fortunate. As I'm obviously not interested in substituting helicopter Dropkick for Drift, I had to call the number they provided to cancel the order. Then a half-hour after that, the person doing the shopping texted me to say the toy is not available and suggested a replacement. ![]() So now I have to buy it online and go back to the store tomorrow.ĮDIT: Two minutes before the block of time I scheduled to pick up the toy began, Shipt changed the pickup time to an hour later. So I try to streamline the process by simply getting an employee to go in the back and get it. The website will allow me to buy it, but won't allow me to pick it up until tomorrow–even though I'm standing in the store while I'm doing the search. The further one has it, according to a website search, but it isn't on the shelf and there's no tag. You guys who just walk into the store and find him are lucky.
